Laura van Straaten has covered the visual, performing and literary arts from more than a dozen countries for The New York Times and T, New York, The Wall Street Journal Magazine, W, Town & Country, and The Hollywood Reporter, and many of the top English-language culture publications in the U.S and abroad. She enjoys talking to people about creative ideas, intentions and processes and what it takes to bring projects across the arts to fruition. She enjoys splitting her time between Manhattan and the three-corner jigsaw where the states of CT, NY and MA meet.
