The paintings of Prazniak and Schley explore landscapes – Prazniak with extracted forms and saturated colors and Schley with gestural brushstrokes and bold colors. Climaco’s bright and expressive ceramic work analyzes the relationships between our personhood and possessions – everything is something; a memory, reaction, celebration or homage. Through Prazniak’s abstracted spaces, Schley’s dreamy depictions of place and Climaco’s object studies – our booth invites viewers to consider themselves in both their possessions, spaces and memories. All with significant ties to New York City throughout their careers, these artists explore themes of place and intimacy in ways that feel vital and necessary in the world today.
