Suzette Bross is an artist investigating a dialogue with available photographic technologies, reforming landscape, portraiture, and documentary scenarios. She is interested in the relationship between both expanded and limited ways photographs can be accessed and lines between personal and public narrative. Bross’s ongoing body of work is part of CPS Lives, a city wide non-profit arts organization where Chicago artists connect with Chicago Public Schools to share each school’s unique story. She is exhibiting a series of photographic portraits, showing the dynamic range of character and personality of each Chicago Public School leader. A portion of EXPO sales from this project will be donated to CPS Lives.
